Welcome to Warlords IP program
We are proud to announce the Warlord Hockey Initiation Program (IP)! This will be our first year starting our IP level and have recruited some of the best to help assist your player develop their early skills and love for the game of hockey. It will be 15 sessions run by SHA hockey out Thamesford District Recreation Center on Sundays at 1-2 pm starting November 6th. All dates are up on our website! Click here for registration form). The cost for this year's program will be $400 including jersey. There is a Maximum of 20 skaters to ensure each participant will get the proper attention to fully maximize their development.
What to expect from the sessions.
- The IP is a program for beginners wishing to learn skating skills prior to joining our regular Program the following season.
- Participants must be three or older to register and able to participate in a group setting without individual supervision.
- No parents are allowed on the ice.
- Participants will be divided into 2 or 3 groups by abilities to ensure proper skill development.
- Each group will be run by an SHA Program Coordinator, assisted by adult volunteers chosen by the Program Coordinator as well as WMRHA volunteers from senior level teams.
- All participants must be dressed in full hockey equipment, including a regulation neck guard, and bring a hockey stick.
- Hockey jerseys will be provided for each session.
- Picture day will be arranged for those choosing to have photos taken.
